Building Update – 5 March 2022
These pictures were taken after 9 days of plasterboard work. On the 10th day, the installers wanted another 4 more days to complete the job and I’ve decided against it as they were already charging way beyond Perth market rate. As the heavy lifting 2 person job is already completed, I should be able to manage the rest, wish me luck!
Since then, I’ve completed all the trim beading work and bits and pieces of the plasterboard that the installer had not complete.
I think I’ll leave the plasterboard flushing (taping and plastering) for the moment and work on my wet area flooring next as the rough surfaces traps all sorts of dirt so it would be easier to remove any plasters on the floor when the floor is not rough aggregate as it currently is.
